Q: My float seems like it needs more filler beads. Will it still float if it is not all the way filled with beads?
A: Each float has just the right amount of super buoyant beads to support you in comfort. Your new pool float is not like an air filled float and would not work properly if it were completely filled with beads. The perfect amount of beads, for your ultimate comfort, is assured through our rigorous quality control procedures as we make the products here in sunny Jacksonville, Florida.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Due to the different import rules for various countries we can ship your order via one of the following three methods (excluding Canada):
Method 1: If you have a freight forwarder located in the USA, we will quote you a price that includes freight charges to get the product to your forwarder. They can then handle the international portion of the transportation.
Method 2: If you have an account with either FedEx or UPS we can air ship the order to you with all charges to be billed to your account.
Method 3: We can quote you an airfreight quote and bill you in advance for all costs EXCEPT duties/taxes and other import fees for your country.
We can ship your order via one of the following three methods:

Q: My float has a rip/hole in it. Do you offer repair patches or kits?
A: We do not offer a repair kit.
Q: How do you wash or care for the float?

Q: What’s the best way to store the float?
A: Store the float in a dry area raised off of the ground.
Q: How does the float work?
A: We have millions of super buoyant beads that lift you up and support you in the water. Check out our You Tube video.
Q: Do I need to inflate the float?
A: No, the float will not inflate. The beads are what will make it float.
Q: It says the float is made of durable Sunbrella material. Can I leave the float in the pool or do I need to take the float out to dry?
A: The float can be left in the pool without damaging it for a few days at a time. However, we suggest removing it and allowing it to dry out so that you will get the most longevity out of the fabric and the beads.
Q: If I don’t like my float, can I return it?
A: You may return an unopened float, but you will be responsible for the original and return shipping costs to send it back. A used float cannot be returned but we want you to be 100% satisfied with our quality products, so please advise what the reason for your dissatisfaction is and a Customer Service Representative will contact you promptly.
Q: Which float do you recommend for children?
A: Floating Luxuries floats are designed for adults. They are not intended for children, nor are they life saving devices.
Q: If I use my float in salt water, will it hurt the float (beads or material)?
A: Salt water will not hurt the float in any way. We do suggest rinsing the float after coming out of salt water.
Q: What if my float starts to fade?
A: Sunbrella Solution Dyed Acrylic Marine Fabric is fade resistant and has a 5 year warranty against fading. It should not fade during the 5 year warranty period.
Q: What if my float doesn’t float as well as it used to? Do you offer a kit with more beads?
A: Our floats under normal usage continue to float well for many years. We don’t offer any type of refresher kit for floats.
Q: Can I pick up my order if I live here in Florida rather than pay for shipping?
A: Yes, please note this on your order and we will notify you by email when your order is ready. You can then pick up the float at our Warehouse.

Q: When I lay on my float the beads separate. Do you have any recommendations on how to keep the beads from spreading every which way?
A: When you get on the float in the water, get yourself to the center of the float and the beads will naturally move to the edges giving you a supremely comfortable floating experience.
Q: How is freight calculated?
A: Freight cost is determined by the quantity of floats ordered, their dimensions and weight, and the order destination. We utilize various shipping options to minimize the cost to you, our customer.
Q: Do you offer any discounts or coupon codes?
A: We do not offer discounts or coupon codes. We do have a sale page with some special values on some of our items.
Q: What is the white tab on the corner of the float for?
A: The white strap is used to assist you in getting your float in and out of the pool. It can also be used in conjunction with the connecting strap to help two floats stay together. Our cocktail caddies have a built in Velcro strap that can attach the floats to the caddies.
Q: What is the float made of? What are the beads made of?

Q: I am only 5 feet tall. Do you offer custom sizes if the float is too long?
A: We do not have custom sized floats. However, if you are 5 feet tall we suggest the following items which cater better to smaller body sizes: Kai Seat Lounge, Kai Infinity, Kai Eternity (exclusively available on www.Frontgate.com), and Kai Noodles. For larger body sizes the Kai and King Kai are extremely well suited to give you a supremely comfortable floating experience.
Q: I cannot believe that you shipped one float in a box that big! Can you ship the floats in more economically sized boxes?
A: Our floats are not inflatable, they come to you ready to use. To get the Floating Luxuries experience, we make our floats as large as needed and therefore the box must be sized in a similar manner.
Q: Why does my float smell weird? Should I wash it?
A: If your float is already used, please see the cleaning instructions, the same solution that is described for cleaning the Sunbrella material can be poured through the beads to refresh them as well. If the smell is occurring on a brand new product this is natural and should dissipate within a few days of usage.
